Casino payment methods in Ireland
How you pay matters almost as much as where you play. The method you choose decides how quickly your deposit lands, how fast you get your winnings and, at some casinos, whether you qualify for the welcome bonus. Every casino we list for Ireland holds your balance in euro; this page shows which methods each one accepts.
The main options
- Visa and Mastercard debit cards: accepted everywhere, instant deposits, withdrawals in one to three working days.
- PayPal: instant deposits and some of the fastest withdrawals, where the casino offers it.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay: deposit from your phone in a couple of taps; withdrawals usually go to your card or bank.
- Skrill, Neteller and Rapid Transfer: e-wallet and instant bank payments that keep casino spending separate from your main account.
- paysafecard: prepaid vouchers bought with cash; deposits only.
- Bank transfer: the fallback for large withdrawals, slower but reliable.
Choosing a method
For speed, PayPal and e-wallets are hard to beat once your account is verified. For simplicity, a debit card works everywhere and is always eligible for bonuses. For control, a prepaid voucher caps what you can spend. Remember that most casinos pay withdrawals back to the method you deposited with where possible, so choose one that can also receive money.
Credit cards
Irish law is moving away from gambling on credit: the Gambling Regulation Act 2024 prohibits licensed operators from accepting credit cards. Use a debit card or another method that spends money you already have.
Fees, limits and verification
The casinos we recommend do not charge fees on standard deposits and withdrawals, though your provider may charge its own (some e-wallets charge to move money back to a bank). Minimum deposits are usually €10 to €20. Whatever the method, expect to verify your identity before your first withdrawal.
