Online casinos in Ireland, reviewed independently
iGambling compares the online casinos that accept players in Ireland so you can choose one on facts rather than on the size of a banner. For every casino we list, we open an account, deposit and withdraw in euro, read the bonus terms from start to finish, contact support with real questions and record which licences the operator holds and when we last checked them.
How online casino regulation works in Ireland
Ireland's Gambling Regulation Act 2024 created the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI), which is bringing in licensing in stages, starting with betting. Every operator we list already holds a valid Irish licence: a GRAI Remote Betting licence, or a Remote Bookmaker's Licence from the Revenue Commissioners that continues under the Act during the transition. The GRAI does not issue online casino licences yet, so each operator's casino product is licensed separately by its home regulator. Each casino card on iGambling shows the Irish licence and the casino licence separately, with the licence holder, the number and the date we verified it, so you can see exactly who you are dealing with.
Where to start
- Best online casinos in Ireland: our ranked list, compared on bonus, games, app, support and payments.
- Safe online casinos: how to check a casino's licence, withdrawals and terms yourself.
- Casino bonuses: welcome offers with the wagering, time limits and caps spelled out.
- Payment methods: which casinos take PayPal, Apple Pay, debit cards and e-wallets, and how fast they pay out.
- Casino games: slots, blackjack, roulette and live casino, filterable by provider, RTP and volatility.
How we are paid
iGambling earns a commission when you sign up with a casino through our links. That never buys a place in our rankings: every operator is scored on the same criteria, and a casino that stops paying players on time or changes its terms for the worse drops down or off the list.
Play responsibly
Online casino games are entertainment with a cost, not a way to make money, and every game has a house edge. Set a deposit limit before you start and use the time-out and self-exclusion tools every reputable casino offers. You must be 18 or over to play. If gambling stops being fun, the free, confidential National Gambling Helpline is on 1800 936 725 and at GamblingCare.ie. More on our responsible gambling page.
